Compatibility

Web platform Baseline includes features and APIs that work consistently in the current and previous major versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari [web.dev, MDN]. Baseline is an initiative of the W3C WebDX Community Group [w3.org, web-platform-dx/feature-set].

The web-platform-tests project is a cross-browser test suite for the Web-platform stack that aims to improve compatibility between different implementations [web-platform-tests/wpt, wpt.fyi, web-platform-tests/rfcs, web-platform-tests.org].

The Interop Project is a yearly initiative of multiple browser vendors and further companies to make the web more interoperable in key areas, prioritized by web developer and user needs [web-platform-tests/interop].
