Git CLI Tools

FrontAid is a Git-based content management system (CMS). Hence, we are working with Git every day. While it is already powerful by itself, it can be enhanced even more with proper tooling.

Git offers great features like version control, branching, merging, hooks, and much more. But many think that Git is complicated. Even when you work with it every day, you might still struggle with it from time to time. Proper tooling might help with getting to understand Git better. It might also make your work easier, and it might reduce annoying repetition.

While there are many good Git tools available, their discoverability is not great. To help spread the word, we collected dozens of Git CLI Tools and categorized them in a list. It contains great Git clients, tools to make diffing easier, for automation, or many other Git-related things. Please have a look! Also please make sure to create an issue with any Git tool that we missed.
