Image Storage and CDN

FrontAid CMS integrates with Uploadcare to store your images. Uploadcare provides media storage and a CDN (Content Delivery Network) to transfer files to your users in the quickest possible way. Uploadcare can also resize and optimize your images according to your requirements. To integrate Uploadcare with FrontAid, you will need an account at Uploadcare. Go to Uploadcare’s website to learn more and to sign up.

In order to integrate Uploadcare with FrontAid CMS, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in at Uploadcare and open the “API keys” view.
    • If you do not have a secret key yet, create one by clicking on “Add secret key”.
  2. Go to your FrontAid Project and open its settings.
    • Go to the “Uploadcare” section and fill in both your public and secret key from Uploadcare.
    • Click save.

The integration is now complete and functional. The only thing missing is the addition of image fields to your Data Model. With that step, you give the content editors the possibility to upload new or select existing images from your library. You can find more about image handling for editors in Fields.
